On Thursday, 2nd October 2025, IAKS LAC organized a panel discussion on “Evaluation of Stadiums in CONMEBOL: Infrastructure and Safety.”
 

The discussion focused on a key issue: the safety and infrastructure of sports stadiums. The organization of large-scale sporting events, the inspection and auditing of stadium infrastructures, and the criteria used for safety prevention were among the topics addressed, sparking debate at the conclusion of the two presentations.

A total of 129 participants from 13 countries gave a special framework to the presentations of distinguished experts such as Architect Agustín García Puga (Argentina), President of IAKS LAC and member of the International Union of Architects; and Architect Carlos De La Corte (Brazil), Technical Consultant for CONMEBOL and President of Arena Eventos, with the moderation and guidance of Professor and Researcher Dr. Gabriel Flores Allende (Mexico) from the University of Guadalajara, Director of Riasport Latin America.
